1. Scope of advisory services
Ultima Insurance Agency (Ultima Consultancy Inc.) acts as a licensed intermediary, advising on and placing insurance products across our accredited carriers. We conduct a needs audit before recommending coverage; final underwriting, pricing, and claims decisions rest with the issuing insurance company, not Ultima.
2. Commission disclosure
Ultima and our accredited agents are compensated by commission from the insurance carrier when a policy is issued and renewed. Our commission rates are standard for the market and set by each carrier — they do not affect the premium you are quoted, and they are disclosed to you on request before you commit to a policy.
3. Claims assistance policy
We assist clients with filing and following up on claims with the relevant carrier as part of our ongoing service — this assistance does not replace the carrier's own claims terms, exclusions, and timelines as set out in your policy contract.
4. Client data & confidentiality
Personal and medical information you share with us is used solely to prepare quotations, process applications, and service your policy, and is shared only with the specific carrier you choose to apply with. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
